Review of the Catalina 22 by Don Boyko

If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, only in the fix'ed keel version if I could  
Gear that's been added Upgraded to the new style forward shroud and side stay fittings, split adjustable back-stay, traveler cleats, marine toilet with holding tank, insulated sliding galley ice box, stern pulpit  
Structural or complex improvements I've been epoxing the linner to hull joint with multiple layers of glass tape and epoxy. Cut out the floor of the starboard cockpit locker to increase the size.  
The boat's best features timeless looks  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.  
Sailing characterisitcs  
Motoring characterisitcs I use a 6hp Johnson, does a great job!  
Liveability VERY! Lived on her one summer on the Mississippi River while in St. Louis on extended business.
