If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes
Gear that's been added it came fully equipped, inclu a dodger, gages but dont have alot of time right now
Structural or complex improvements no
The boat's best features value , classic lines, my 82 has nice teak accents, even teak ladder , is in great shape and is holding its value.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. the swing keel, will have to drop it, to do the upgrade and put in a new pin.
Sailing characterisitcs not a good light air boat but I just got a new main and my skills are improving. In heavy air, have to have a headsail to come about. Sails great with a 60% blade and one reef. Need the rudder upgrade.
Motoring characterisitcs can do 5kn, old 9.9, shaft isnt as long as it should be but ok for most situations
Liveability just increased the expansion of the starbd bench which allows the seat back to lay along side the seat for a wider bunk. Have a pop top. Its ok for the size boat. put a port in the rear quarter birth.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any very positive Freeman Eckley, in Vermilion Oh
Other comments cant wait to go again!live for the weekends
