Review of the Catalina 310 by Alansails

Owner bought the boat in 2013  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? ABSOLUTELY, Wish we had known how good the boat was before , We would have bought sooner!  
Gear that's been added New Batteries-AGM, battery charger, oberdorfer water pump, sails, chart plotter, LED lights, running rigging, hatch off the head to the lazeratte , Bimini and Dodger  
Structural or complex improvements  
The boat's best features Interior Design, Cockpit design, Hull design, Sailing attitude  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.  
Sailing characterisitcs We have sailed the Great Lakes and have sailed in 30 knot winds, Boat is sturdy, well built is not tender. we have also raced her under PHRF and have taken 2nd place!  
Motoring characterisitcs No Problem, Does hull speed  
Liveability We lived aboard during a 7 week trip up through the Great Lakes, No problems, Not even us!  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Catalina Went above and beyond for answering questions and finding a mast cap from the mast yard, sent it to us at no charge. This is our 3rd Catalina-would not own anything else! Boat is well built and Great Customer support! Spoken with Gerry Douglas , Warren Pandy and others they are Great  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Bought it from Green Turtle Bay brokerage, Great Expierence  
Other comments Would Highly recommend Ownership, Great Boat!
