If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	So far so good. I love the room, the finish, the space, the cockpit. I have only owned the boat for a short period but I can see a long association with Catalina coming up.
Gear that's been added	Extra gear when I bought the boat included TV/Video, BBQ, Dodger and boom tent. I plan on buying an MPS with a snuffer for coastal passages and a bimini.
Structural or complex improvements	No
The boat's best features	Interior volume, head room, light and airy, fantastic cockpit and wide walk around decks.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	Nothing so far.
Sailing characterisitcs	Boat sails well on all points. Today we did a coastal passage from Sydney Harbour to Pittwater, a bout 20nm. We had about 8 - 10 knots with a 2 sail reach in both directions. The sea was 1 -2 metres and the boat felt great, sailed well was very comfortable. So comfortable I sneaked downstairs on the run home and had a short nap in the front cabin.
Motoring characterisitcs	No problems. Enough power to drive through chop and easy to come into a mooring. Have a two blade fixed prop.
Liveability	Plenty of room for my wife and I for a week or more. Great weekend boat for 2 couples without tripping over one another.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	Only dealt with the Catalina agent when I purchased the boat. It was traded by he previous owner on a new 320 Mk II. Everything went smoothly and I feel if I ever upgrade to a new larger Catalina they would give me a fair trade in price.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any	All good.
Other comments	I am still in the honeymoon period but so far it has performed as good if not better than I had hoped. My wife is happy so it must have been the right choice. A friend and his wife recently said that we will be seeing a lot more of each other now so I guess they like it too.
