Review of the Catalina 30 by Callan Linehan

Owner bought the boat in 2006  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes would pay more even  
Gear that's been added Yes Dodger is geting installed within the month,new electrical system, new depth finder, steps to top of mast, water heater, new shower pump, amp volt meter, kayak holder. Soon to add radar arch, gps, radar, davits,solar panels,wind/water genrator.  
Structural or complex improvements Maping out for radar arch  
The boat's best features spacious interior, and speed  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. old speed and depth meters. wiring  
Sailing characterisitcs great speed but im very glad i have the large rudder cant see how to get along with out it  
Motoring characterisitcs diesal is great uses very little fuel and very strong  
Liveability i Live in it all summer for 1 person its great 2 is fine 3 is to much. i would live in it all year but its to hard on the boat in the winter
