If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again?	Absolutely. Our sailing area is a broadening of the silted Illinois River, which is typically quite shallow. Additionally, winds are variable and ofter quite light. This 22 has a shallow draft and sails wonderfully in light winds. There is also a racing club that races this very same Capri 22, making potential competitive sailing a possibility should I ever catch the racing bug.
Gear that's been added	Only a portable potty for my two adorable kids. A depth gauge would be a worthy consideration for my sailing environment.
Structural or complex improvements	none
The boat's best features	Good sailing characteristics in light winds, ease of handling, shallow draft (2'8") for my particular area, nice little but comfy cabin for the kids, absolutely wonderful storage capacity.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	nothing after the first season of sailing
Sailing characterisitcs	She sails well on essentially all points of sail in my humble opinion. The manueverabililty with the 4-stroke Honda engine is outstanding. She does tend to heel easily with the main and 135 genoa out, but that makes it fun.
Motoring characterisitcs	Outstanding with the 5 hp Honda engine.
Liveability	We don't live aboard this vessel, although the kids have fun below decks when we are out on a sail.

The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any	We purchased the boat through the St Louis sailing center and have had a wonderful experience.
Other comments	I think this boat is perfect for day-sailing, particularly in my current environment.
