Structural or complex improvements	no the boat was well taken care of except for the bright work, I did have to redo a lot of the wiring, do to some prev. additions were not up to code
The boat's best features	a lot of boat for your money, great support from Catalina, great room for a 30, and a easy boat to sail solo
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.	I keep up with the maintenance and care of the boat, No real problems so far, just normal wear and tear,
Sailing characterisitcs	I have a tall rig and I it helps in the light conditions, The M25 engine has been reliable
Motoring characterisitcs	The M25 has enough power for my lake, for a 86 has low time 335 hours,
Liveability	For my wife and I plenty of room for overnite or weekend, the air condition was a must due to little air flow in our marina
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)	I used Catalina customer service rep. a couple of times on question about the boat and parts, Catalina was always helpfull
