I recently removed all halogen bulbs in my 12 Volt light fixtures replacing them with inexpensive LED strips. The two new LED strips (total 24 LEDs) put out the same amount of light as the two halogens bulbs.

LEDS use less power, are cooler and last many years longer than halogen bulbs. The new warm white LEDS provide the same comfortable lighting as conventional bulbs.

Step one - Remove the old halogen bulbs and supporting hardware.

Step two - Glue two (12 warm white LED) strips in place with Gorrilla glue.

Step three - Rewire the LED strips to the old Halogen bulb wiring.
