This is the new hot water heater location in the starboard aft locker. Catalina, at the factory, built the shelf that the heater is mounted on. It was neccessary to downsize the water heater to 7 gallons. This means that there is a limited amount of hot water. However, you mix the hot water with cold when you use it, so it should be enough.

This is the location for the hot water heater which is under the twin sinks in the galley. It has been moved to a new location at the factory per my request. Now there is room for all the galley junk under the sink. Although you cant see it, there is a General Ecology Ultrafine filter mounted on the back wall. All of the water from the tanks pass through it.
