When Catalina was building the boat I had them move the water heater from under the sink area in the galley

to the aft compartment.

They downsized the tank from 11 gallons to a 7 gallon tank. More than enough hot water for a couple and also heats faster with the smaller tank. Now I have more storage room under the sinks in the galley.
