Her hull design is a modern blend that stimulates quick acceleration while providing a confident level of stability - excellent for club racing or weekend cruises with the family. You will find plenty of crew space in the cockpit - wide and deep enough to provide a good measure of comfort and safety. Sailing is simple, yet technically advanced. Rigging is close at hand, and includes a hydraulic lift for the centerboard.  The responsive dagger-lift VARA inboard rudder offers optimum control for dynamic sailing performance.

The 216 is constructed with Hunters patented ACP (Advanced Composite Process), a composite that makes the boat lightweight and fast. The combination of thermoformed UV stable plastics, fiberglass, and pressure-injected foams create a tough boat that is virtually unsinkable.
