The owner bought this boat in 2012
General condition and any additional information
Up for sale is our wonderful 1997, 26-foot Hunter sailboat. The original owner bought her and sold her after two years as he didnt know how to sail. The second owners didnt either and kept it docked in a Virginia river and used it on weekends for fun. We bought her eight years ago. We have sailed her primarily in the Magothy River in Maryland, in brackish water. I am selling her as I have had two hips and a knee replaced and my other knee is bad. I am almost 70 years of age and I feel unstable on her, particularly on the bow. You can see by the few pics that this sailboat had every factory option that was available. There is also a pedestal table for the poop deck, that we used twice. I have an extensive list of improvements, most of which I have receipts for, that we have upgrade over the years. I doubt if you will find a finer sailboat of this vintage, in this condition! It is very stable and a great sail, heads high into the wind and can handle depths less than two feet. Any question or concerns call me on my cell (540) 3279448. Thanks for your interest, our loss is your gain!
