rotten bulkhead replacement


When we receive the boat there was much water damage to the original teak veneer marine ply bulkheads. These were fastened using #10 screws. During an offshore event we tore the screws through the bulkheads along the starboard side. Two issues with replacing using the same style teak veneer wood. First, an 8 X10 sheets are over $250 a piece and it appears that the original bulkheads were installed before the deck was added. We had to cut our new nida core main bulkhead into three pieces and glass back together down below.
